Helping Bring a Community Vision to Life
When the City of Prattville and local event organizers reached out about the upcoming Parade of Pumpkins Prattville, AL, we were honored to help shape the visual identity of one of the River Region’s most beloved fall traditions. This sixth annual celebration of community and family fun lights up Downtown Prattville every October, drawing families from across Autauga County, Montgomery, and surrounding areas.
To help create a unifying visual centerpiece, our team designed and fabricated a custom pumpkin sculpture that proudly displays the “Parade of Pumpkins” name. The goal was to reflect the creativity, culture, and connection that define the event—and we were excited to turn that vision into a larger-than-life display that would welcome thousands of visitors from Friday, October 18th through Thursday, October 31st.

From Sketch to Street: Our Design Process
Creating a standout display for the Parade of Pumpkins meant much more than making a decorative piece. It meant listening closely to the needs of the City of Prattville, understanding the spirit of the event, and blending artistry with durability. We started with initial sketches that were reviewed and refined with feedback from the city and cultural partners.
Once approved, our fabrication team went to work, using weather-resistant materials and bold autumn colors to ensure the sculpture would shine throughout the two-week event. The custom pumpkin was shipped to Prattville-Autauga in time for installation and now serves as a central gathering point, photo backdrop, and symbol of local pride.
This project was about more than a product—it was about helping education-focused organizations, schools, and families celebrate what makes Autauga County special.
Community
Supporting Kids’ Activities and Cultural Arts Through Design
Our work on the Parade of Pumpkins Prattville, AL supported more than just the aesthetic of the event—it helped create a focal point that enhanced the experience for everyone, especially children and families. During the event, kids’ activities like free pumpkin painting sessions (hosted by the Prattauga Art Guild) took place near the installation, drawing in participants of all ages.
Schools from across Autauga and Montgomery counties participated by contributing their own decorated pumpkins, while local artists and cultural arts organizations enhanced the space with creative displays. The lighting of the pumpkins each evening—carefully installed by the city—brought a magical glow to the downtown streetscape.
Our sculpture stood as a centerpiece among it all, helping create a cohesive look and feel for the parade and encouraging guests to share their experience online, in local news, and across community networks.

When we look back at our involvement in the Parade of Pumpkins in Prattville, AL, we’re proud of how our work contributed to an event rooted in community, education, and the spirit of giving. Beyond its festive appeal, the event also supports important causes. For instance, City Hall partnered with charitable groups to collect non-perishable food donations, allowing attendees to give back while enjoying the event.
Our custom display became a small part of a much bigger effort—one that brought together families, schools, and visitors for a season of joy. From the initial concept to the final reveal, we are honored to have contributed to the success of this beloved October tradition in Prattville Autauga, and we look forward to supporting future events across Alabama and the River Region.
